DREAM TEAMS

Dream Teams are what we call our volunteer teams here at StrongPoint - it's just a fun way to say you're part of one of our service teams that help make Sunday mornings run smoothly and create an exceptional worship experience for our congregation.

Baptism

Plan for and manage baptisms. Provide assistance to those getting baptized.

Check-In

Welcome and check-in volunteers and children attending children's church.

Livestream

Manage the livestream experience by manning cameras, displaying graphics, and/or overseeing production.

Multi-Media

Manage ProPresenter by preparing slides for Sunday services, displaying graphics and slides, and offering technology support for the praise and worship experience.

Next Steps Team

This team consists of next steps for salvations or rededications, next steps towards membership and can facilitate any prayer needs.

Parking Lot

Welcome members and guests as they arrive, and keep the parking lot organized by directing traffic.

Platform Host

Communicate upcoming events, giving opportunities, and more from the pulpit.

Praise & Worship

Use your vocal and musical skills to lead the church in praise and worship.

Staff Door

Assist Pastors, family members, and other pre-authorized individuals with entry from the administrative wing to sanctuary; manage lighting before, during, and after service.

StrongPOint Kids

Care for children during Sunday services by reading books, using curriculum to tell Bible stories that aid in developing children who have a heart for Jesus.

Training & Development

Help train, develop and assimilate new volunteers in using their spiritual gifts to serve God and people.

Welcome Center

Welcome members and guests, help answer questions, and direct individuals to various locations in the church.

Youtube

Manage the YouTube channel during Sunday services by welcoming online guests and participating in the online viewing community. Provide links to resources such as digital giving and prayer request forms.

Completion of all StartingPoint classes are required before joining a team.

Care Team

This team extends care towards SPC families who are going through hard seasons and may need extra support and/or encouragement.

Connect Groups & Couples Ministry

Serve as a host/facilitator for small groups of individuals and couples focused on strengthening their relationships with God, others, and community. Plan gatherings and guide group discussions around specific subject matters to help participants grow and mature in their faith journey together.

This team finds ministry opportunities in the community and organizes volunteers to serve in needed areas.
